FAQ - PLAYTEST

What are playtests?
We want to see what happens when we put our games in the hands of real players. In order for us to do this before games are released, we want to invite players to our office so that they can try out our games in development and give us feedback on what might be good or bad about it.

What do I need to do in the playtests?
All you need to do is come to our office and play our game the same way you would play it at home, then tell us what you think, answer some questions and fill out some feedback. We only want to test the games, and it does not matter how much experience you have with other games or how good you are. We want to hear from all kinds of players.

How do I sign up?
You need to fill out a short survey before each playtest, which we will send to everyone who signed up to the playtest email list. We will also post the link to the playtest on our Resolution Games social media pages.

Who can join the playtests?
Anyone can join our playtests. We’re looking for all types of players with all types of experiences. The only requirement is that you need to be 18 years old, since you need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before the playtest.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for the playtests?
No, you don’t need to prepare anything in advance, or do anything once the playtest is over.

Where do the playtests take place?
All playtests take place at our office in Stockholm. You need to be able to get here on your own, so we recommend that you live in the Stockholm area if you want to participate.

How long are the playtests?
We will always tell you before the playtest how long it will take, and you get to pick which time slot you want to attend. Usually, playtest will be around an hour long.

What do I get if I participate?
As a token of our appreciation, you will get one Resolution game of your choice. If you do not want one of our games or don’t have a VR headset, you can also choose a SF Bio movie ticket instead. For very long playtests, we might offer additional rewards.

If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us directly.
